With Extra Flex you always get a 40% discount on the journeys you make with GVB. This product is available on the OV-chipkaart and on the debit card. With an OV-chipkaart your discount with Extra Flex + age discount is: 60%. There is no age discount for the debit card.

24 hour (all day and all night). The discount only applies to journeys that you make with GVB.

How does this product work:
You can choose to travel with a personal OV-chipkaart or with your debit card (OVpay).
Personal OV-chipkaart: You travel without a balance on your card. You pay for all your trips by bus, tram, metro and train monthly in arrears, including the discount on your GVB trips. For ages 4 - 11 years and 65+, the discount on GVB travel is 60%.
Debit card (OVpay): you travel with your plastic debit/credit card, mobile phone or smartwatch. Your payment is automatic. At the end of the day, the amount including discount on your GVB trips will be shown in your payment overview with the description NLOV. There is no age discount with OVpay.
Good to know:
Extra Flex on the debit card can only be purchased in the OVpay webshop.
Payment is made via direct debit.
Start Flex continues until you cancel it.
You can change or cancel monthly.
You arrange everything online in your MyGVB account.
